The Seattle Waldorf World Music Ensemble is an advanced level student group from the World Music program at SWHS, led by Gordy Onayemi Ryan, who performed for 30 years with the Babatunde Olatunji Drums of Passion. He has performed with Planet Drum, Carlos Santana, Jerry Garcia, Airto Moreia, David Sanborn, Nile Rogers, and many other artists, as well as playing on over 100 albums and movie scores. He has taught at NYU and has led music workshops on 3 continents over his long career of sharing his musical experience.
